Canvas rio hondo login issues impact student grade submissions

I followed the directions in this video Embedding PPT into Canvas and it seemed to work for a while, but now the instructor is saying the students need to login to view. Well thanks to your question and screenshot, I just learned about the Canvas widgets. I hadn't even realized they were there. The Canvas Administrator made certain sections (files, announcements, quizzes, etc) visible to teachers but not students. I would like to make these sections visible to students. How do I do that?

This is applicable for readings and assignments completed externally to Canvas. This will allow assignments of this nature to appear the same as any other assignment type- no need to explain the difference between “submit” and “mark as done” to students. ‎ 03-22-2022 12:12 PM @k12pieadmin That navigation bar is created using the DesignPlus tool by Cidilabs which is a software that can be purchased and added to Canvas. It uses custom JavaScript to create those elements. That particular one uses the items in a module to generate it. Thanks so much for clearing this up.
